Brief

In accordance with its plan for expansion, Giza National Automotive (GNA) – the authorized dealer for Mercedes-Benz in Egypt – erected its largest showroom & maintenance workshop yet, on the Cairo-Alex Desert Road.

Located in Pyramids Heights, GNA’s new premises will serve its current and potential clients alike since it embraces all three “S’s”: Sales, Spare Parts, and Service.
Among several other companies, Linkmisr participated in GNA tender in order to furnish the new GNA center with shelving and storage solutions. Having proposed the ideal package to meet their requirements as well as that of Mercedes-Benz Egypt, Linkmisr was awarded the contract. Everything from the quality, pricing features, as well as the brand of Linkmisr helped make the decision easy for GNA to place its trust in Linkmisr. Putting into consideration the needs of GNA and the standards required by Mercedes-Benz Egypt, LinkMisr furnished the project using three products. Longspan Shelving, Euro Shelving, and XL Pallet Racking which provided a clever combination of shelving concepts and the most efficient, durable and practical storage solution. Thanks to their supreme quality, all three provide safe shelving options that easy to access, label and maintain.

Euro Shelving System presents a versatile shelving feature with high density storage. Ideal for smaller spare parts and delicate electronic devices, Euro Shelving’s plastic drawer units brought forth a safe, sturdy and easy to use application well-suited for GNA’s small-sized and “handle with care” products.

Longspan Shelving System is all about secure and hard wearing shelving. In terms of storage, GNA greatly benefits from storing away all the awkwardly-shaped items thanks to this space saver. Providing long, uninterrupted bays of shelving frames, Longspan shelving comfortably accommodates heavy objects and spare parts.

XL Pallet Racking attends to GNA’s needs for a shelving design concept to accommodate bulky items such as car windscreens. Designed for strength and durability, Pallet Racking’s firm support will bear even the heaviest spare part containers and large packages.

The final storage design result proved to be extremely effective, space-saving and flexible.
GNA was able to benefit from the multi-tiered storage systems, which created high density, high
capacity solutions, while maximizing floor space.
